A punch card your regulars can't lose

A digital loyalty program for local venues

Guests light up your venue when they visit, and every visit counts toward a reward you choose: a pastry on the fifth, a tote bag on the tenth. It lives in the free app they already use all over town.

For your guests

How the loyalty card works

Three steps, and the first one is just walking in.

  1. Step 1

    They light up your venue

When a guest gets to your place, they open Greenlight and light up your venue. It only counts when they are really there.

  2. Step 2

    Every visit adds a stamp

Each light-up counts toward your next milestone, and guests can see how close they are in the app.

  3. Step 3

They pick up the reward from your staff

When they hit a milestone, the reward shows up in their app. At your counter they type in a code your staff give them, which marks it collected.

Ideas, not rules

You choose the milestones and the rewards

Decide how many visits each reward takes and what it is. We put it live together, and change it when you want something new.

Coffee shop

Fifth visit: a pastry. Tenth visit: a bag of beans to take home.

Restaurant

Fifth visit: dessert on the house. Tenth visit: the corner table held for you on a Friday.

Gym or studio

Tenth visit: a branded water bottle. Twenty-fifth visit: a free class.

Shop or gallery

Fifth visit: a tote bag. Tenth visit: a first look at the new collection.

Why it works

Why a loyalty card on Greenlight

Nothing to lose or forget

The card lives on your guest's phone, so it never goes through the wash or gets left in last season's coat.

One app for every spot in town

Your guests use the same free app at the coffee shop, the gym and the place down the block. Nobody downloads an app just for you.

It counts visits, not receipts

There are no receipts to scan and nothing to connect to your register. A visit counts because the guest was there.

Your regulars get seen

Your venue has its own weekly board, so the people who keep coming back can see their name near the top.

Ground rules

How stamps and rewards work

A few rules that keep the card fair for everyone.

  • Visits earn stamps

No purchase is needed to light up a spot, earn points or finish a challenge. A stamp is a light-up, so it is earned by coming in.

  • Pick something you can always hand over

A milestone reward should be there every day you are open. If something runs out for good, tell us and we change the milestone.

  • A stay can be part of it

If you want, a light-up at your venue only counts once the guest has stayed a while, so walking past the door does not count.

Loyalty is the steady part

Pair it with a weekly prize or a challenge

A loyalty card rewards the people who keep coming back. A weekly prize gives your regulars a race that starts over every Monday, and a challenge our team builds with you aims at the night or the habit you care about, like a quiet Tuesday or a morning streak.

Questions

Questions owners ask about loyalty

Do my customers need to download an app?

Yes: Greenlight, which is free on iPhone. It is one app for every spot on the map, so nobody installs something just for your place, and your venue sits beside the other spots they already go to.

How does a guest prove they visited?

They light up your venue in the app when they arrive. The app checks their location against yours, and your venue's own wait decides how soon the same guest can light it up again.

Do I set it up myself?

Tell us the rewards and the milestones you want, and our team puts them live with you. When you want to change something, tell us and we change it.

What can I see about how it is going?

Your venue portal shows light-ups over time, the guests who came, your weekly board, how close guests are to each loyalty reward, and the rewards guests have won at your place.

Does it only work for restaurants?

No. Any place people visit on their own schedule can run one: coffee shops, restaurants, gyms and studios, shops and galleries.
